Arriving from a Cruise Ship?

Are you arriving from a Cruise Ship?

Queen Mary 2

Guernsey is a tender port, so passengers need to be organised.  Unfortunately this usually means getting up early to beat the crowds trying to get on the tenders.  I have known people to have to wait almost two hours to get on a tender.  Also, as Guernsey is usually the first port of call on itineraries, with its location being so close to Southampton, there is little time to organise what you wish to do once you are on board.  There are so many things to do in Guernsey, passengers are advised to book a tour well in advance of the cruise itself.

Being a bit of a cruise-aholic myself, I understand the needs of the independent cruiser passenger.

Most important is to be back to the ship on time.

Small groups - not having to wait for the 50th person to catch up all the time.

Providing unique tailored tours that are not available from the cruise line.

Time flexible - if you want to spend a little longer in one place, adaptions can always be made.

Private visits to tour attractions.

Getting to the most popular places to visit first, well ahead of the cruise ship buses.

All walking tours of St Peter Port mean that you are never more than 15 minutes from the tender drop off.  For island tours, I recommend visiting the places outside of town first, whether by car, MPV or minibus, with a walk of the town at the end of the tour.  Tours are tailored to each individual client/group needs, taking into account the time available.  Local advice is provided to ensure that each guest has made the most of their time on the island, and enjoyed every part of the tour.  Tours can include lunch at a restaurant providing local delicacies or perhaps afternoon tea with scones.

If you are wondering what to do in Guernsey, there are so many different places to visit, it is impossible to see everything in one day.  Please contact me to discuss your requirements, I am always happy to liaise with clients to ensure that their needs and expectations are met.  Having travelled hundreds if not thousands of miles to reach our beautiful island, please take the time to see as much of the island as possible, and hopefully you will come back again.

I also have some fixed tours which are suitable for cruise ship excursions, CLICK HERE FOR OUR TOURS PAGE WITH MORE DETAILS.
